Brief

Youth for Youth Foundation is a national organization that runs reproductive health education programs for teenagers. We designed and developed their organizational website, a support for project descriptions, press releases and media materials. The website has thousands of visitors monthly.

Challenges

The greatest challenge was to find an easy way to manage the large number of articles generated by the NGO’s 18 years of activity.

  • Understanding the needs
  • A new database architecture for the website
  • The pages had to be interactive, comments and chat had to be available to the visitors

Solution

We reimplemented a Wordpress engine, added several other functions, such as menu, filtering by menu items and many more. Also, the new platform allows adding new functionality easy in the future. We added a series of plug-ins to the basic platform that allowed the team to manage the content better. We also trained the content managers in using the new website.
